AR Navigation for spacewalking ︎︎︎

Mixed reality spacewalking interface for astronauts

As the space exploration industry grows increasingly ambitious and commercial, we are faced with the reality that more people will be embarking on spacewalking morethan ever before. To answer this call from NASA, we designed spacesuit information displays within Augmented Reality environments to reduce the cognitive load of spacewalking tasks for astronauts in emergency situations.

  • Winner / shortlisted for NASA SUITS Challenge 2018
  • Built & tested the prototype in NASA Johnson Space Center, TX.

Developing low-cost baby monitor ︎︎︎

Empowering carbon efficient homes at scale

Existing baby monitor products are expensive, complex, and overcomplicated in understanding data. We aim to provide peace of mind to worried parents by prototyping a simple, low cost sleep tracker for babies in a form of wearable belt that could read the baby’s sleeping position and track the breathing movements in abdomen area.

Podlife: Personalized transport system  ︎︎︎

Reimagining autonomous vehicle pods

A speculative approach for a world where we prefer personalized mobility. Podlife is a new system of transport with the comfort of home. In 2038, you’ll take Podlife pods from your suburban house an hour outside of Boston into the city and spend time working, exercising, sleeping, or even shopping on the way there. More efficient than a car and you'll still enjoy the same privacy, storage, and convenience. Supercharge your commute by traveling in a room of your own.

Redefining teamwork ︎︎︎

Using design to materialize discursive thoughts

What is teamwork? in our daily basis (especially in the office) we do work as a team, but when starting to do the actual task, we are doing it by ourselves. We do our tasks separatedly and combine the results in the end, but we still call it teamwork. What is the real essence of teamwork? “Redefining teamwork” is a thought experiment presented with a particular dining experience.
